My name is irrelevant, unless you're an extremely attractive female.

I'm the guy behind Squirrel Solutions Ltd. I write code, I build websites, I build and repair computers and I install servers. I work for myself. It's brilliant.

In my spare time I'm a keen photographer, I play the piano and I play the drums. I like country & western music, but I don't drive a pick-up truck.

Why "I like jam"? Do you even like jam?

No, I don't like jam. But Vince (the little fellow at the top of the page) likes jam. He also likes trousers. And Tuesdays.

Ok, I give in. Who is Vince?

Vince was a plasticene dog from a cult claymation series called "Rex The Runt".  It was made by Aardman Animations (that's the people behind Wallace & Gromit, Shaun The Sheep etc). And it was just... surreal. Most of the episodes are available on Youtube.

Do I really need to register?

Not to read the blog, no. You only need to register to post comments. This is because every blog I've seen that allows unregistered users to post comments ends up being flooded with spammy adverts for Viagra amongst other things. So, for that reason, I've made registration mandatory if you want to comment.

It's really simple. You put in a name (preferably yours, but make something up if you want to stay anonymous) and a valid email address. You'll receive an email with a link. Click on the link, your email address is confirmed. It's that simple. Then you can post comments. It keeps the Viagra-merchants away.

If I register will you send me loads of junk?

No. I hate spam too. I promise I will not spam you if you sign up.

You'll get an email telling you there's a new blog post. That's it. I don't spam people, it's bad form.
